The Hurricanes have lost five straight games and are looking to turn their recent slide around; they hope to do so against the first place Kensington Vipers. Game time is 8:15 pm at the Simmons Sport Centre.

The Vipers have defeated the Hurricanes three times this season; 3-2 on October 13th in overtime, 6-3 on October 19th and most recently, last Sunday night by a score of 7-6 in Kensington.

The Hurricanes currently sit in fourth place in the league standings with a 3-7-2 record while the Vipers enter Saturday's game with a record of 10-1-0.

The rookie line of Nick MacDonald, Patrick Cummiskey and Curtis Martell has been on fire for the Hurricanes as of late, scoring the teams last twelve goals. Cummiskey currently sits in third place in league scoring with 23 points, first among rookies, MacDonald has been on fire in his first five games of the season, scoring three times and adding seven assists and Martell sits in fifteenth in league scoring with fourteen points in twelve games since being traded to the Hurricanes from Montague.

Following Saturday's game the Hurricanes will have a week off before playing a special home game on the Holland College Slemon Park campus in Summerside versus the Western Red Wings. Puck drop will take place at 8:25 pm and all students at the western end of the province are invited to attend, free of charge.
