The Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers will play host the the Eastern Maniacs in game one of the best-of-seven semi-final series this Sunday evening at Community Gardens. The IJHL game gets underway at 7pm.

The Vipers come in off a first place finish in the regular season and finished 32 points ahead of the Maniacs. Vipers coach wade Waddell cautions people to not let the standings fool you. The Maniacs played with very short benches all season but have been playing great hockey as of late with some additions of some strong affiliates as well as the return of Damon Macdonald.

The Vipers limp into the playoffs with some key injuries and losses. Veterans Ryan Murray and Spencer Sherren will be out for game one and veteran Nick Bouchey will miss the playoffs due to school commitments.

Grant Grady, playing in his 5th post season with the Vipers will start game one.

Season ticket holders are advised that there passes are for regular season only and not valid for playoff games.
