Hurricanes Prepare to Wrap Up 2013 |

On Saturday night the Hurricanes will host the Western Red Wings at the Simmons Sport Centre, it will be the fourth time in five games that these two teams have met. The Red Wings currently sit at 7-8-1 while the Hurricanes are currently 3-12-2. Puck drop takes place at 8:15 pm. The Hurricanes Patrick Cummiskey sits in eighth in league scoring with 28 points in 17 games; Jonny Richards and Nick MacDonald are also ranked inside the top 25 in the league with 17 and 16 points respectively. Richards has played 17 games while MacDonald, who started the season late, has played in just ten. The Red Wings will rely on Jeremy Balderston to provide their offense as he now sits in fourth in league scoring with 38 points in 16 games played. On Sunday the Hurricanes will travel to Kensington to take on the Vipers at the Community Gardens. Puck drop is 7 pm. The Vipers have won all four meetings between the two teams, with two of them one goal games including an overtime win for Kensington on October 13th at home. Jordan Mayhew leads the way for the Vipers offensively as he sits atop the league scoring race with 42 points in 17 games played.
